Magnolia Down Under Challenges - Make your own Flowers

Wow, two posts in one weekend? What is going on? I guess when the crafting bug strikes, you have to go with it. The new area to craft in helps a tad too.

The challenge this week at Magnolia Down Under is Flowers and more Flowers - Make your own.
I have hand stitched some lace to make a flower, and also make some rolled roses.

I've inked little Ballerina Tilda with DIs.
The card is a Criss Cross card and the top of the insert has been cut with a new Magnolia Doo Hickey die, Envelope Edge. There are two in the pack, a small and large (I used the large here) but the shape is just like a crown! So perfect for cards for princeses and princesses.

I hope you get a chance to play at MDUC this week - Magnolia themselves are sponsoring with a secret prize pack! Defiantly worth spending the time to sit down and create.

Until later,
Hugs x

The Sketchy Challenges - Karen's sketch

Hi there friends,
I'm sorry so being such a stranger to my blog. We have finally moved into our new house and are settling in. My craft desk is mostly set up and I can happily work away.

Something adorable arrived in my mail box yesterday - a little pressie from Magnolia - a sneak peak from the next collection.... ohhhh - isn't she cute?

vra

I took a free evening to sit down and colour her up.
There is a new sketch up at The Sketchy Challenges this week and it was a prime opportunity to showcase this little cutie pie. I don't know what her name is yet but I am sure all will soon be revealed.

The beautiful papers are also Magnolia. I just love the pinky colours. So pretty!

I sat down and made some lace button flowers.
Lots of doo hickeys on my card too. My favourites are the new Peacock feather die.

Well, that is it from me today. I hope you get a chance to head over to The Sketchy Challenges and check out Karen's fabby sketch.
