Anyway... This is my DT card for this week's Magnolia Down Under Challenges #61. This week we have a recipe for your - 3 papers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon. I have used the Kaisercraft 6x6 stack from Up Up and Away for my 3 DP - the postcard piece is cut from one of the sheets in the stack. Tricky hey? My two buttons are actually some that my Mum saved for me - from my Dad's old work shirts. Nothing goes to waste! They worked out perfectly. All of my edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo and the postcard piece is also distressed with my Tim Holtz edge distresser. And I have used my Magnolia Doo Hickey "Tildas Lace" (available also from Tickled Pink Stamps) for the edge of the layers.
So... some challenges are:
Papertake Weekly - a recipe - 3, 2, 1 (3 papers, 2 buttons, 1 ribbon for me!)
Stampin for the Weekend - Anything Goes
Totally Tilda - Stitching
Thanks for hanging around for a very chatty post from me!
Have a great Sunday

**Edited to add - I came in the Top 5 at the ATS Magnolia Challenge with this card!! Thanks so much girls!!**
Good morning!! It is Magnolia Down Under Challenges time again - Yay!!! We have a colour challenge for you this week... and what a colour challenge it is!! When I first saw the challenge I though... Oh my goodness - what on Earth am I going to do? They don't call them challenges for nothing I spose! But then not long after that I was out at my local craft store and found this amazing paper....
So I guess now would be a good time to tell you that the colour challenge is - orange, green, pink, brown and blue! Sounds nice and bright, ready for spring, doesn't it?
I decided that I loved the paper so much that I would try and make the card a little simpler than usual and let the cute little Fall Tilda and gorgeous paper do the job for me:
Of course, I had to use my Tilda Lace Doo Hickey (available at Tickled Pink Stamps) on the edge of the card - and yes - it DID cut through both layers quite easily, and some beautiful white cotton lace. The fantastic paper is American Crafts "Blue Skies" collection Good Vibration. I love it. Expect to see more cards using this fun paper in the next few weeks.
So you have until Saturday midday AEST to enter the challenge.... and don't forget to see what our creative and talented DT made to show you - wow!
And I am going to try my luck over at:
Stamptacular Sunday challenges - Buttons and bows,
Pollycraft Challenge - In Stitches
Crafty Creations #81 - Butterflies
Cute Stamps and Cards - Scallops
Stamping for the Weekend - Anything goes
Totally Tilda - #3 Stitching

I've used the new Basic Grey "Oliver" DP - I love these new colelctions from Basic Grey. The image has been made 3D by colouring three images and cutting them out and mounting them on silicone.
So I will be entering him in the following challenges:
19 August 2010
This week we have a sweet smelling challenge for you - A Rose is a Rose. I just LOVE roses. Despite the bright colours (its really grey and cold here so I may have edited my photos a little too much with the old brightness/contrast button...) I've gone a little bit vintage with Evie here. She is such a lovely las.
The too cute for words rose charm is from Tickled Pink Stamps, along with the lovely Evie. The papers are my favourite collection from Kaisercraft "Devonshire", I just love the warm autumny tones.
We'd love to see you play along with us this week, it is a nice challenge to play along with so why not get out your Lil Lolitas and get colouring?
I'm entering Miss Evie into the following challenges:
18 August 2010
The papers are Basic Grey "Olivia" 6" stack and SU! cardstock. The sentiment was cut using my Cuttlebug dies "Baby face" and the scallop is Magnolia Doo Hickey (from Tickled Pink Stamps).

15 August 2010
I have made a circle easel card, inspired by my beautiful friend Jodie. If you haven't been to Jodie's blog, you are missing out, she is a true artist. I just love her shaped cards. This is the first time I have given it a go myself and I was really please how it turned out... mind you, it required a bit more thinking for me than usual!
I have used Magnolia images Oops Tilda and Kitchen from the Yummy in your Tummy collection. This is the first time I have inked up Oops Tilda, the poor little thing has been sitting in my stamp collection all unloved. The swirls and tag are both Magnolia Doo Hickey dies. I just love them!
There is some crystal effects on the "glass" in the kitchen and on the jars. The images are coloured with Copics.
I have used Edwin and Tilda on bicycles from the Lazy Summer Days 2009 collection and a couple of little birds... and I'm sorry, but I can't remember which collection these little cuties came from...
13 August 2010
There is a new challenge up at Anya Ink today and Tickled Pink Stamps are sponsoring the prize for this challenge so we Pink Ladies were asked if we wanted to make a little something to play along with the Anya Ink DT. Of course, being new to TGF stamps, I jumped to participate!
The challenge at Anya Ink is a recipe - 3 flowers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon. I pulled out my Sweet Message set (available at Tickled Pink Stamps) and some pretty Prima papers out of my drawer and got to work. Every time I colour this cute little image I am surprised at how nice she is to colour and the finished result of the card. I think you could stick this image on a cereal box and it would look great!
The sketch started out being the sketch from Sketch Saturday this week, and it still does resemble it ... I've just used the lace instead of the rectangle panel... I hope it still counts :) I just love this gorgeous cotton lace. Cupcake Craft Challenges are looking for lace this week too, so I'll enter over there as well.
So that is it from me today. I'll be back in the coming days with something else to share, in the meantime, get our your TGF or CC Design stamps and enter at Anya Ink!
Enjoy your weekend :)
12 August 2010
Now, back to our regularly scheduled LLBC post - this week we are asking you to go dotty! Did you buy one of the digi Lil Lolita's to play with on the weekend? Then why not print her out and join us.
I've used Mod '60's Ivy for this challenge. She is one of my favourites.
The sketch is this week's Friday Sketchers. I really liked the sketch this week and was itching to use it.
The gorgeous pink pearls are Flourish with a Bling, from Tickled Pink Stamps.
11 August 2010
It is so very cold here at the moment. I am very much looking forward to spring. I can see the green tips of my jonquils poking out of the ground now, so a few more weeks and we should have some nice spring feeling in the garden.
At least with the cold and wet weather there are plenty of reasons to stay inside and keep warm... and sit at my craft desk and colour!
I got out my new Magnolia stamps to play with for my card today. I have coloured the images with Copics and added some crystal effects to the window and Tilda's bags and shoes.
I have used Copic colours:
Hair: E 30, 31, 34, Y 28, Y26
Skin: E 000, 00, 11, 13, 93 (cheeks)
Clothes: E 000, 41, 43, 44, B 91, 93, 95, 97, 99

08 August 2010
Hi everyone! It is time for a Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenge! This month our Boss Lady Kellie has created another fantastic sketch for us. I have built the sketch into my card - it might be a little hard to find, but it is there.....
To enter the Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenge you can use any stamp, but to be eligable for the prize (which I will get to in a minute), you must use a stamp from one of the companies that is sold from Tickled Pink Stamps - so there is a huge choice from Magnolia, CC Designs, Baby buds, TGF, Kraftin Kimmie, Pink Cat Studio, Sweet November.... and of course, Lil Lolitas. Tickled Pink Stamps also ship stamps overseas so if you are after some new stamps from these companies, go check out what is in stock, there is sure to be something that pleases your eye.
I have used the new Mermaid Tilda from the Magnolia Bon Voyage collection and coloured her with Copic markers and Spica at You glitter pens.
There is a bit of acetate in the centre of the card which (although not really visible in the photo) has been embossed through the cuttlebug with the Swirls folder. Tilda's tail is coated in Diamond Stickles as well.
All of my edges are distressed and had some silver Stickles added. The embellishments are raffia, real sea shells and polished pearls, some Kaisercraft rhinestone swirls, cream cherry blossoms and some silver sea themed charms.
The paper is also from Tickled Pink Stamps from the Magnolia "Fairytale" collection.
Now -the prize?? Well, Kellie is being VERY generous this month and there is a $50 store gift voucher up for grabs. How nice is that?? Just think of all the goodies you can buy with a $50 voucher?
So don't forget to pop over to see what the rest of the talented DT has created for you - there is some amazing girls on our team!
DON'T FORGET THAT TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE YOUR EXCULSIVE AND ONE TIME ONLY DIGITAL LIL LOLITA STAMPS!!! There is only 7 hours left to go so please **CLICK HERE** to head to the Tickled Pink Stamps store to get yours.
I am also going to enter my card into the Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge - use Acetate on your card.
Good morning!! Yay!! It is Magnolia Down Under Challenges day!! This week we are looking for.... Easel cards! My goodness - you should really go and see what the DT have put together. WOW. Those girls really know how to make gorgeous cards. I've made a more... traditonal (if there is such a thing?) easel card using my new Magnolia Summer Club Bon Voyage stamps.
There are four stamps from the Club used here - Dangling Edwin, Porthole, Pelican and The Tide Always Turns sentitment. I had a great time playing with these. It was a great lot of stamps this time (and apprently the Fall Club includes some Christmas stamps so if you haven't ordered your stamp club yet......why not?).
My images are all coloured with Copics and the papers are Kaisercraft. I've added some little silver eyelets around the porthole and some pearl flourishs (Flourish with a Bling). The waves have some diamond stickles added to them and the sea has some Spica at You clear pen as well. The porthole is actually set in behind the front layer and I made my own little rope out of crochet cotton.
So you have until midday Saturday 14th August AEST to enter the challenge. It is a great opportunity to get out all of those new uninked stamps or even your older, neglected ones to play along with us. We'd love to see what you create!
07 August 2010
Well, just to ADD to the excitement, Stephanne and Kellie are GIVING three away! Aren't they a generous couple of girls?
Soooo... all you have to do is... head over to Tickled Pink Stamps, choose three of your favourite Lil Lolitas (there are eleven, so this is the hard bit) and then head to Stephanne's blog and leave a comment letting her know which three you've chosen and add your sweet self to Mr Linky on her blog.
And then, if you can't tell which three really were your favourite, head back to Tickled Pink Stamps and buy the other eight. Why not? You really wanted them all didnt you?
I sat for two hours Thursday night and another hour on Friday colouring this gorgeous image and loved every moment. The only tricky bit was trying to get the little bird in the middle to stand out against the bird seed.
It is a little difficult to tell from the photo but the background is also coloured using B0000. For some reason I just couldnt get it to show in the photo
Mouse: E70, 71, 77, 93, 04
Birds: B 91, 93, 95, W 0, 1, 3, E000, 41, 43, 44
Flowers: R81, 83, 85, RV 000
Leaves: YG 63, 67, 91
Branches: E30, 31, 53, 55, 57
Bird feeder: C 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, B60 (glass)
Seed: E13, 34, 53, 30
I was really pleased with how the image turned out and know that there will be more House Mouse stamps appearing in my stamp collection when I find them. Copic Oz have their first challenge running at the moment, to colour Flowers and I've been meaning to enter and I think my House Mouse card fits the bill.
The card istelf is a little bit simple in its layout because the image is so large. I've distressed all of the edges and stitched on some pretty white bobbin lace to give it a bit of a shabby chic feel. The House Mouse & Friends Challenge #75 is Vintage.
Thanks for staying with me for such a long post. Enjoy your weekend, everyone. I will back tomorrow with some more to share with you.
06 August 2010
I pulled out my brand new, never been inked before Magnolia stamps to make a card to show on the Mad for Markers blog which was up yesterday, but seeing as though I had a Lil Lolita's post going up as scheduled, I thought I'd hold this one over til today to make everyone got their fair share of blog time :)
This is the new Pilot Edwin and Plane from the Bon Voyage collection. Aren't they cute? My boys love planes and so I had to buy these two.
I used Mercy's Tuesday sketch #85 as I keep looking at all of the gorgeous work on her blog but never seem to get there to enter!
I used Copic colours:
Skin: E 000, 00, 11, 13, 93 (cheeks)
Hair: E 30, 25, 34
Suit: B 97, 95, 93, 91, Y 28, 26, 23, 000 (golds)
Shirt: W0, 1
Shoes/ bag: E 30, 31, 34, 37
Plane: C 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, R 17, 14
Gold and clear spica
I also thought that my card fit in really well with the current challenge at Simon Says Stamp challenge - Sing it Baby - I've had "Come Fly with Me" in my head the entire time I was colouring!
05 August 2010

Lilith is coloured with Copics and Spica at You pens. This is the only photo I could get with all of the sparkles showing..

03 August 2010
Here is my latest card featuring the newest and very cute Catch of the Day image from The Stamping Bazaar. What a cute little otter.
I managed to sit last night and colour him up. Doing the fur takes a little longer with all of the layers, but it is so worth it in the end to give the little fella some depth.
I've used my Magnolia Doo Hickeys again. I just love them. And have distressed all of the edges. The papers are Kaisercraft.
Its a bit hard to see in the photo, but I've sponged some little clouds in behind our little friend here.
Well, I'd best be off to go and get my little boys something to eat. We've been out playing with Grandma and Poppy this morning so have used up a lot of energy! Time to re-energise with some lunch.
01 August 2010

So mark it in your calendars and do not miss this very special, limited and exclusive offer!
Gosh the weekends go fast. Sunday morning already. And time for our next Magnolia Down Under challenge! This week the challenge theme is - BIRTHDAYS!
I have used Tilda with Rose Bouquet for my birthday card. She is coloured with Copics and Spica pens. I don't usually use a lot of mauve, but I have these Basic Grey papers "Wisteria" which I love but haven't been able to use for some reason so I challenged myself to come up with something using them.
So, if you want to enter Magnolia Down Under Challenges this week, you have until Saturday midday to get your card ready.
I've been wanting to enter the Basic Grey Challenge #25 Stitching all week so now I finally have a card using some Basic Grey papers!
